How we got here
MercantileOS was born out of frustration. After running multiple 7-figure ecommerce stores, we were tired of the "death by a thousand cuts" that came with traditional platforms.
Every feature we needed cost extra. Reviews? That's an app. Email? Another app. Upsells? You guessed it. Before long, we were spending more on apps than on our platform fee.
Worse, each app slowed down our site and created support headaches when things broke. And don't get us started on the 2% penalty for using our preferred payment processor.
